Steyning B&B Guide Brighton
Other places of interest in West Sussex are the picturesque villages of Henfield and Steyning.
Steyning dates from the Saxon times and its museum charts the changes from port to market town. One of the most famous landmarks in Sussex is the Iron-Age hill fort of Chanctonbury Ring near Steyning and about 783 feet high and most of the grounds are covered with trees planted in the 18th century by Sir Charles Goring. The wide-open and blustery vistas surrounding it is delightful and well worth a visit with outstanding views of the picturesque countryside.
