Tranthwaite Hall is a magnificent olde world farmhouse dated 1174 and known to be the oldest in the district with beautiful oak beams, doors and a black iron fire range.

Tranthwaite Hall has an idyllic setting half mile up in unspoilt country lane where lots of wildlife can be seen badgers, foxes, rabbits, deer and the heron fishing in the stream. We are in beautiful countryside situated between Kendal and Windermere.
