Navan Fort - Visit the ancient seat of kings and the earliest capital of Ulster. Navan Fort or Emain Macha is today a system of impressive earthworks, settlement sites and sacred places. Navan Fort is Northern Irelands most important ancient monument. Traces of man dating back 5500BC were uncovered but excavations showed that the few centuries before Christ found Navan at its most remarkable.
