The B&B has 3 bedrooms [1 single, 1 double, 1 twin/triple/family] and can accommodate a maximum of 6 people at any one time.

The Tallet Holiday Cottage is a self-catering rental property adjacent to the farmhouse which can sleep up to 4 or 5 people.

Lone Oak Cottage can sleep up to 6 people and the nearest neighbours are about half a mile away!

The farm is set in 200 acres of secluded, idyllic grounds, 2 miles from the bustling town of Castle Cary situated in rural Somerset.

There are plenty of things to see and do nearby and this location is ideal for touring the whole of the region. Its many attractions include:

This Georgian farmhouse offers high quality bed and breakfast accommodation and was built in 1743.

Clanville Manor is constructed of the local honey-coloured "Cary" stone and is set in picturesque Somerset countryside.

It is of a manageable size and is, above all, a family home.

The Snook family bought Clanville Manor and the farm from the Hoare estate in 1898 and ran a dairy farm here for over 100 years. They sold the dairy herd in November 2003 and are now building up a beef herd.

The house retains a great deal of its original features, but provides modern and comfortable accommodation.

There is an oak staircase in the flagstone entrance hall, with a lovely arched window halfway up.

Guests are welcome to use the drawing room for reading, relaxing, or television viewing.

There are 3 letting bedrooms in the farmhouse.

We can accommodate a maximum of 6 people at any one time in the house.

The double bedded room has an en-suite shower, toilet and bidet.

The second room has a double bed, a single bed and space for a small bed for a child. It can therefore be used as a double, a twin or as a family room. The second bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath.

The third bedroom is a single and has an en-suite shower room.

All rooms are beautifully furnished and equipped with:

Tea and coffee making facilities

A full English breakfast is served each morning in the dining room - local produce is used whenever possible in the breakfast menu.

Breakfast is cooked on the Aga unless the weather is very hot and it has to be turned off.

The spacious dining room overlooks the pond and the driveway of the farmhouse.

Fresh eggs are laid by Clanville Manor's own hens.
