Just 10 minutes from Stockbridge and we are close to the historical cities of Salisbury and Winchester and the town of Andover, just a 15 minute drive from our location.

Also a short distance away sits the historical site of Stonehenge, close to Amesbury town and Tidworth.

Paths and walks can be found nearby where you can stroll and watch the abundance of wildlife and birds.

  Area Activities  

We are centrally situated for visiting many historic and famous places and are a perfect base for exploring Southern England. The Cathedral Cities of Salisbury and Winchester, and Stonehenge are only 20 minutes drive away. Bath, Newbury, Windsor, Isle of Wight are but a few places to visit by the day from here.
We are a good stop-over for those touring The West Country. We are in one of the best known trout fishing areas of the country.

We are in the middle of the Test Valley, walking and cycling tracks and paths and can offer secure cycle storage, large drying room for clothes and packed lunches (with notice). We have beautiful walks nearby, taking from 1/2 hour to all day!

Stockbridge, once famous for its local race course attended by the then Prince of Wales and Lillie Langtry, but now famous for the River Test trout fishing, tantalising antique and gift shops, art galleries, its tea-room and old pubs, is only 10 minutes drive away.

Salisbury has both a multi-screen Cinema and the Playhouse Theatre.
