  Inn Amenities

After much hard work we have completely renovated Littlebeck to a very high standard, putting back many of its original period features.

Littlebeck has three quality first floor double bedrooms, which are individually furnished, all rooms are en-suite with large tiled showers and a plentiful supply of hot water from the Aga. For reading and relaxing there is a charming galleried lounge. All our bedrooms have colour televisions, courtesy trays, clock radios and hair dryers. Individually controlled central heating and double glazing ensures that your stay is as warm as our welcome, and for those wet days we have drying facilities. Also private off road parking.

Breakfast is served in our comfortable Dining room, with its large oak table and Welsh Dresser. We have gained an enviable reputation for our full English breakfast, which is prepared with fresh local produce, cooked on our Aga. We also serve a delicious vegetarian breakfast if required. You can also choose the lighter option of fruit, cereals and toast.

  Area Activities

Kettlewell boasts three village pubs and a bistro which offer a varied selection of good food ales and wines. There are more inns & restaurants within a few minutes drive which include The Fox and Hounds at Starbotton which offers a good varied menu. The Tennant Arms nestling under Kilnsey Crag offers excellent bar meals or an extensive A La Carte menu while The Angel at Hetton offers some of the finest food and wines in the Dales.

Kettlewell is a typical Dales village which remains delightfully picturesque and unspoilt. It is surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the Yorkshire Dales and provides the perfect base for walking or touring, with many fine circular walks from our front door.

Skipton prides itself on being "The Gateway to the Dales" and is our nearest town. It has a colourful market 4 days a week. At the head of the town is Skipton Castle one of the best-preserved medieval castles in England and is open to the public.

Malham Cove is nearby, once a waterfall and now an impressive cliff, topped by an extensive area of limestone pavement There is also Middleham Castle where you can climb the battlements to enjoy the magnificent views once enjoyed by Richard III. Locally there are some fine limestone caves which are open to visitors. Or climb aboard the Settle-Carlisle Railway and travel through the heart of the Three Peaks country and over the soaring Ribblehead Viaduct, bound for the Eden Valley and Carlisle.
