The town of Conwy has many things to offer. Visit the magnificent Conwy Castle built by King Edward in the 13th Century and town walls which are amongst the finest in Europe, stretching for ¾ mile with 22 towers and 3 original gateways. The castle and walls are open to the public and make an ideal vantage point for breathtaking views of the Conwy Estuary.

Plas Mawr is one of the finest Elizabethan Houses in the country and well worth a visit, as are Aberconwy House and Britain's smallest house situated on the picturesque harbour. In the summer months river trips are available and at night try an organized Ghost Walk though Conwys narrow streets.

Conwy provides an ideal location from which to explore the many surrounding areas of interest. Snowdonia National Park is nearby with its wonderful untouched scenery of mountains, lakes and rivers. Mount Snowdon from which the area derives its name is the highest in England and Wales at 1085 metres high, the summit can be reached by foot or on the famous Snowdon rack and pinion railway.
