B&B Location

Peter and Janet Smith offer you a warm welcome to their home in the Lake District National Park, Cumbria, England. From Junction 36 on the M6 Motorway take the A591 towards Kendal (for approximately 3 miles) until turning left onto the A590 signposted to Barrow-in Furness and Ulverston. Follow the A590 for approximately 15 miles until you approach a crossroads with the B5278 ( signposted to CARK). Turn left towards Cark and the Coach House is the very first house on the left. Parking is behind the house follow the sign to the Leven Valley Bowling Club. We share parking space with the Bowling Club.

We are only a quater of a mile past the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Steam Railway Station so following the brown railway engine signs from the M6 may help you.

We reserve the right to refuse single night bookings on Friday and Saturdays during the high season (April to October)

Contains a Double Bed and has an ensuite Toilet and Shower. TV/DVD and Tea/Coffee making facilities.

Room 2:
Contains Twin Beds and a wash/hand basin. This room is not ensuite but has private use of a toilet and shower on the landing. TV/DVD and Tea/Coffee making facilities.

Room3:
Contains Twin Beds, wash hand basin and has an ensuite toilet and bath. TV/DVD and Tea Coffee making facilities.

Inn Amenities

The house is a converted Coach House and stables built over 200 years ago retaining many of the original features including wooden beams and stable stalls now providing a warm and comfortable house with modern facilities. The house is set in mature gardens which you are free to make use of.

The T.V. Lounge is available solely for guest use and also contains an up to date set of guides and leaflets for many Local attractions.
