The Old House, a family home set in a beautiful garden and located in the picturesque village of Scaldwell in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside. Scaldwell is situated just off the A 508 Northampton to Market Harborough road. Just 10 minutes from the A14 and 20 minutes from the M1 & M6 motorways, The Old House is within easy reach of Oxford, Cambridge, Birmingham and London.

The double and twin bedrooms have private en-suite facilities and the single bedroom has sole use of adjoining bathroom. All rooms have colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities.

Area Activities

Locally, Lamport Hall, Castle Ashby, Boughton House and Earl Spencer's Estate of Althorpe are all within 20 minutes of Scaldwell. If fishing or sailing takes your fancy, Pitsford reservoir is just 10 minutes away or a little further afield is Rutland Water; Northampton is situated on the Grand Union Canal so a visit to Braunston Locks could provide the delightful afternoon you are looking for. Just south of Northampton are the Silverstone Circuit and Towcester Races, or maybe you could visit Rockingham Castle or travel to the delightful towns of Stratford, Oundle and Stamford.
