We are situated in our own grounds on the edge of the village of Cotehill, in the lovely Eden Valley six miles from the historic and ancient City of Carlisle. We are only 10 minutes drive from Junction 42 on the M6 and 15 minutes from the A69 Newcastle–Carlisle trunk road.

This puts us in an ideal position for an overnight stay for anyone going to and from Scotland and England as the Anglo–Scottish Border is only a dozen miles away. Likewise for anyone traveling to Northern Ireland, The Borders or North East England.


How to Find Us

* From Junction 42 on the M6:

Take the B6263 (sign posted Wetheral).
When you reach the village of Cumwhinton turn right at the P.O. sign posted Cotehill.
Go right through Cotehill past the crossroads and about 200 yards past the church.
We are the white cottage on the right.

* If you are approaching from the A69:

Turn off on to the B6263 sign posted Wetheral.
Go through Wetheral to Cumwhinton and turn left to Cotehill.
Go right through Cotehill past the crossroads and about 200 yards past the church.
We are the white cottage on the right.

Our full breakfast consists of fresh fruit salad, cereals, yoghurts,fruit juices, followed by fried egg, bacon, toast tomatoes, Cumberland sauasage, black pudding, mushrooms and beans.

There is also honey, marmalade and jams provided.
Eggs can be scrambled, boiled or poached if required.
