Circle and Keswick town centre in the heart of the English Lake District. It is an ideal base to explore the Lakeland fells on foot, indeed walking to Keswick town centre is a joy along the old railway footpath as this scenic route takes in panoramic views of Grisedale Pike and Latrigg - all within less than fifteen minutes walk from the B & B.

Directions:
From the North and South via M6 motorway junction 40
Take A66 to Keswick and follow this road until the slip road signposted A591 Keswick/Windermere, continue for approx. half a mile and Laurel Bank B & B is on your right immediately before the T junction for Keswick and Windermere.

From the South - scenic route via M6 motorway junction 36
Take A591 heading towards Windermere and follow this road for approx. 20 miles to Ambleside - continue on A591 for approx. 15 miles towards Keswick until you reach sign for Cockermouth, turn right and Laurel Bank B & B is immediately on your left.

All their bedrooms are en-suite with TV, hairdryer, refreshment tray and clock radio as standard, free wi-fi internet access is also available.

The five en-suite bedrooms are individually furnished to a high standard and reflect the attention to detail that Rodney & Margaret are proud of. 'Standard' en-suite double rooms at the rear of the property have fine views of the wooded slopes of Latrigg, these are available for single occupancy with a supplement (excluding School Holidays). A cosy 'standard' en-suite ground floor double room is useful for anyone who has problems with stairs. 'Superior' en-suite rooms have panoramic views towards Keswick and can accommodate couples, twins, triples or families of up to four people. Family friendly they have one high chair in the dining room and can accommodate a travel cot in the bedroom. Pets are welcome accompanied by owners at all times whilst on the premises and doggie beds and/or towels for drying off purposes are appreciated.

We have a total of five letting bedrooms, one on the ground floor, two on the first floor and two on the second floor.
