  Inn Amenities

Our three new purpose built rooms are well appointed with llarge en-suite bathrooms. All rooms have TV, video and a full hospitality tray. There is more than ample parking on our two acre site. Secure parking is available by prior arrangement. There is also a small gym available and a full sized snooker room.

For our disabled guests, one of our rooms has direct access (through French doors) from the parking area via a gently sloping ramp. Ideal for families are our connecting rooms which give parents peace and privacy whilst having the children close at hand. A high/low chair and cot are also available.

There is also a small runway for light aircraft nearby, and therefore ‘high fliers’ can arrive in their own plane, (strictly by prior arrangement). Transfers to and from our local intercity rail terminals can also be arranged. A couple of miles down the road our friendly, local inn, The White Swan, has a superb restaurant and for those without transport we can offer a shuttle service. For those guests who prefer to relax at Spanhoe Lodge we can conjure up delicious, tempting dishes from our evening menu, all we need is just a little prior notice. For business meetings or family get-togethers, a private dining room is available.
Many excellent walks start here at Spanhoe Lodge, including the well known Jurassic Way and packed lunches are always available.

Our most recent achievement has been our inclusion in the 2002 edition of the "Best Bed & Breakfast Guide". Spanhoe Lodge has been chosen to feature in the Editor's Top 20 B&Bs - an accolade that we are extremely proud to have. Special rates are available to guests staying more than two nights in low season.
Packed lunches and evening meals are available by prior arrangement.
