  Inn Amenities  

Our aim is to provide you with comfortable accommodation in a homely and friendly environment, to give each guest our individual attention and to make your stay with us a memorable one.

Comfortable beds will ensure you have a good night’s sleep and a full English breakfast will set you up for the day ahead. For the convenience of guests, this is a no smoking, family home.

All rooms are in pristine condition, have fitted carpets, central heating, colour television and tea/coffee making facilities. Hand and bath towels are provided in all rooms free of charge.

A private bathroom for guests has bath with shower attachment and toilet.

Our dining room overlooks our wildlife garden where woodpeckers, nuthatches, finches and many other varieties of birds and animals can be seen.

Situated at the gateway to the Isle of Purbeck with easy access from the A351, "Foresters" is an ideal base for visiting the numerous attractions of the area :-

Magnificent sandy beaches and breathtaking coastal scenery compliment the countryside and picturesque villages.

Discover castles, coves, islands and spectacular coastline.

Enjoy the fascinating history and heritage. Dorset is the land of Lawrence of Arabia and of Thomas Hardy the poet and novelist.

Visit the famous World War II tank museum and see the tanks in action.

Journey to Portsmouth to see the Royal Navy battleships and cruisers, the naval museum and the historic sailing ships such as HMS Victory and HMS Warrior.

View Wimborne Minster, Salisbury Cathedral and stately homes such as Beaulieu with its national motor museum.

Explore the New Forest, the Purbeck Hills and nature reserves where Dartford Warblers are a speciality.

Ride a steam train, play golf, fish, sail or take a boat trip either locally or to France. The cross channel ferry port of Poole is only 15 minutes drive away.
