It is equipped with cutlery, china, and cooking utensils. A telephone line, cable TV, and broadband ethernet and wireless are already connected. Bedlinen, duvets, and towels are provided.

  Inn Amenities

Our guests seem to appreciate staying in somewhere with character, quality, and a personal touch. We certainly receive positive feedback and guests keep coming back.

The bedrooms are spacious with good beds, internet connection, and pleasant, simple, decoration. All sanitaryware has been installed recently and the showers are high pressure. Towels, soap, and bathrobes are provided as standard.

Guests are welcome to relax in the drawing room, often with complimentary tea and cake, and to make use of the garden. One of the three village pubs, all of which serve food, is close.

The house was built in 1889 by The Cambridge Water Company. We bought the house from them some years ago and have gradually extended and refurbished it. The original character has been restored and modern comforts provided. It is in quiet setting surrounded by trees and adjacent to the gardens of the original pumping station.

We would like you to feel at home whilst staying with us and you are free to relax in our drawing room in front of its open fire or in the sheltered courtyard. We usually manage to serve complimentary tea/coffee and cake.
